Kerry Jessup, LPC, ATR-BC is an art therapist and licensed professional counselor who has worked in the field of mental health and human services for nearly a decade. She received her master’s degree from New York University, where she completed a clinical internship at Bellevue Hospital. At Peak Interactive Wellness, Kerry works with adults ages 18+.
Kerry has worked extensively in psychiatric hospitals and understands the wide-ranging experiences of clients who have undergone inpatient hospitalization. Other populations she has served include victims of sexual violence and trafficking, survivors of mass shootings, foster care youth, adults with traumatic brain injury, military veterans, and first responders. Kerry is especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients, including individuals who are questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. She employs a humanistic, person-centered approach by helping clients recognize their own resiliency and capacity for growth and change.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys yoga, movies/film, y esta aprendiendo español. She serves as Vice President of the Colorado Art Therapy Association and is involved in government advocacy and legislation efforts to advance the field.
