Welcome To Peak Interactive Wellness

Mental health care should feel like it was built for you. Not a rushed appointment, not a generic prescription, and not a provider who makes you feel like a number. At Peak Interactive Wellness, all of the mental health services in Denver that we offer are rooted in one belief: treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
We’re a full-spectrum psychiatric group practice with the clinical depth to meet you wherever you are, whether you’re navigating depression for the first time or searching for answers after years of treatments that haven’t worked.
Our team of psychiatric nurse practitioners brings over 40 years of combined clinical experience to patients across the Denver metro area. Before becoming prescribers, many of us worked as psychiatric nurses in inpatient, emergency, and community settings, which means we understand the full arc of mental health care, and we bring that perspective to every appointment.
A strong mental health plan starts with a thorough assessment. Our initial evaluations run 60–90 minutes, not the rushed 20-minute intake you may have experienced elsewhere. We conduct in-depth interviews, review your medical and family history, and assess all relevant factors to ensure an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan that actually fits your life.
Medication can be a powerful tool in mental health treatment when used thoughtfully. Our providers work closely with each patient to find the right medication regimen, carefully monitoring progress and adjusting as needed. We use pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing to match you with medications more precisely, including newer options like Auvelity and Zurzuvae, and we always aim for the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary time.
We believe mental health is never just about brain chemistry. Our holistic psychiatry approach integrates conventional treatment with integrative and functional medicine principles, examining inflammation, hormones, gut health, nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. Treating your brain means treating your whole body.
Accessibility matters. Our telehealth services provide full psychiatric care: evaluations, medication management, and follow-up via secure virtual appointments. Whether you’re in Denver or anywhere else in Colorado, you can receive expert psychiatric care from wherever you’re most comfortable. No commute, no parking, no waiting room.
For people with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, or anxiety, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy offers a genuinely different path to healing. Our KAP program combines ketamine’s neuroplastic effects with guided therapy before, during, and after each session, supporting not just symptom relief, but real psychological transformation. We’ve been providing KAP to Coloradans since 2022.
Peak Interactive Wellness is a REMS-certified Spravato provider, offering FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression. We are one of the few Denver clinics that accepts insurance for Spravato, including Colorado Medicaid, making this life-changing treatment more accessible than ever.
Mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period is critically important and often underserved. Our perinatal psychiatry services provide specialized care for new and expectant parents navigating postpartum depression, perinatal anxiety, mood disorders, and OCD. We understand medication safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding and will help you make informed, individualized decisions.
Everyone deserves affirming, competent psychiatric care. Our providers are trained in gender-affirming practices and understand the unique mental health challenges and strengths within LGBTQ+ communities. We offer a safe, non-judgmental space for evaluation, therapy collaboration, and medication management.
We provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and teenagers, with a developmental and family-informed lens. Whether your child is struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges, we work closely with families to create a care plan that supports the whole child, not just the presenting symptom.
We treat people, not diagnoses. Before we ever recommend a treatment, we want to understand your full story — your history, your biology, your life context, and what you actually want from care.
We offer what most practices don’t. From pharmacogenomic testing to Spravato to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, we bring the current state of psychiatric science to our patients, not just the standard-of-care from 20 years ago.
We make care accessible. We accept Colorado Medicaid, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, and UnitedHealthcare because access to good psychiatric care shouldn’t depend on your insurance plan.
Our patients trust us. We hold a 4.9-star rating from over 375 patient reviews. Our patients consistently describe feeling heard, respected, and genuinely helped, which is the only metric that really matters to us.
We’re easy to reach. Two Denver-area locations plus telehealth across Colorado means you’re never far from care.

What is holistic psychiatry, and how is it different from traditional psychiatry? Holistic psychiatry addresses the root causes of mental health conditions, including hormonal imbalances, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, gut health, sleep, and lifestyle factors, in addition to providing evidence-based psychiatric medication and therapy. Rather than treating just the diagnosis, we treat the whole person. The result is care that’s more personalized and more likely to produce lasting change.
What is the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychiatric nurse practitioner? Both can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe psychiatric medications. A psychiatrist holds an MD or DO degree, while a psychiatric nurse practitioner holds a graduate nursing degree with specialized psychiatric training. Our nurse practitioners have decades of clinical experience across diverse settings — inpatient, emergency, and outpatient — and are fully qualified to manage complex psychiatric conditions.
Do you treat children and teenagers? Yes. We provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents, with a developmental approach that includes close collaboration with families.
Can I get psychiatric care during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? Yes. Our perinatal psychiatry services are designed specifically for this. Many psychiatric medications have well-established safety profiles during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Untreated mental illness during the perinatal period also carries real risks. We help you weigh the full picture and make the decision that’s right for you and your family.
Do you offer telehealth in Colorado? Yes. We offer full psychiatric telehealth services to patients anywhere in Colorado, including evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments. Some specialized services, including Spravato, require in-person visits per FDA guidelines.
How do I make an appointment? The easiest way is to submit a Request Appointment form on our website. Our team will follow up within one business day to schedule your initial evaluation. You can also call us directly at 720-460-9084.
Your mental health matters. We’re here to support you with compassionate, evidence-based care — wherever you are in your journey.
